Our Music
Music is a uniquely human way of knowing the world around us, learning who we are, expressing feelings when we have no words, and understanding things with our hearts when we can't with our minds. And it starts in the first days and years of life.
Music forges unique connections in the brain, integrating mind, body, and emotions. Immersion in an interactive, musically rich environment like Music Together® fosters children's music skills as well as their growth and development in many other areas essential to success in school and life, such as creativity, self-expression, and confidence. It supports language, cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development and helps them have a positive attitude toward learning.
With ongoing music experience from birth to kindergarten, children develop the ability to sing in tune and keep a beat, and gain the disposition to be a music-maker and learner, setting them up with a solid foundation for formal music and dance instruction.
New Songs Each Session
Music Together® music is designed to inspire the whole family to listen and play along. The class fee includes a beautifully illustrated songbook and recordings of the award-winning music for home use.
Each song collection includes original songs and traditional tunes from a range of musical styles, including folk, blues, jazz, and world music with varied cultural origins, tonalities and meters.
With twelve song collections rotated over three years, your family will build a large, varied repertoire of beloved songs.
